This website gives general information about solar energy, battery storage and our services. It is not engineering, electrical, financial, tax or legal advice, and it does not replace a professional assessment of your property.
Costs, output and savings
All costs, system sizes, output figures, savings, payback periods and estimator results are estimates and ranges, not quotes. They reflect typical Westside installations and the BC Hydro rates in effect when written.
Your results will depend on roof orientation, pitch, shade and condition, your electrical service, how much of your solar you use yourself, the weather and smoke in a given year, the equipment chosen, and your utility’s rates and programs. Actual results can differ considerably.
Nothing on this site guarantees performance, savings, payback or backup runtime. Only a written quotation after an assessment sets your price, and only the warranties in your signed agreement and from the equipment manufacturers guarantee performance.
Rebates and utility programs
Rebates, the self-generation rate, Peak Saver and interconnection rules are set by BC Hydro, the District of Summerland and governments, and can change or close without notice. Figures on this site were correct to the best of our knowledge as of September 2026. We confirm what applies to your address during your estimate, but we are not responsible for changes to any third-party program.
Power outage information
Our outage guide is general information. We are not a utility and have no access to outage data. For current outages, always use BC Hydro’s outage map or call BC Hydro. In an emergency, call 911.
